The Location
La Hacienda Naranaja
At about 1500 masl, in the region of Antioquia, you can find La Hacienda Naranja right by the town of Venecia. During construction it was the second largest farm of its time, with about 100 hectares of land that included a mountain called El Cerro. Today the farm and estate is 156 years old, still conserved with the same materials it was built with, and is considered a Colombian historical structure. After years of families inheritance of the farm, the land is now made up of 14 hectares of coffee, fruit trees, and natural water reservoirs.

Housing
Our first 4 nights we will be staying at La Finca Naranja. The sleeping situation will be hostel style; we will split into two small groups and each individual will have their own bed and space. Additionally, there are two full bathrooms that will be provided for us. For our final two nights we will be taking over a newly built hostel in the city of Medellin. Any recommended items you may need to bring will be sent in a detailed email & will include your safety waiver.
